The City of Storm Lake will be closing the Michigan Street Parking Lot at 6:00 AM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 to accommodate the Iowa Select Farms and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation free pork loin giveaway for families who aren’t planning a Christmas meal due to insufficient funds. The scheduled time for the event is from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Set up for the event will begin early in the morning. The parking lot will reopen immediately following the conclusion of the event.
The City appreciates the public’s understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience.
