The meeting is open to the public, with an opportunity for public comment provided.
The session is a departure from traditional council meetings, as council members hope to take some of their future work session discussions outside City Hall to connect with citizens more directly. “This is something unique for us. The council will be doing a work session at a remote site, so that we can get an understanding and input from the community on what they would like to see as far as passes and fees at the waterpark,” Mayor Mike Porsch said of the upcoming meeting. “It is something the council has been looking to do and this is the first one we will try.”
The session will be a good opportunity for those who would like input in the waterpark pass process, and a good chance for the council to hear more public input, the mayor said. “We hope to see as many people out there as we possibly can.”
