IPERS(Iowa Public Employee Retirement System)

Currentlythe City of Storm Lake contributes 9.44% of employee’s salary.  Theemployee contributes 6.29% (tax deferred). 

 Volunteerfirefighters IPERS rates 6.81% employee, Employer 10.21%

 

411(Municipal Fire and Police Retirement System)

Currentlythe City of Storm Lake contributes 26.02% of employee’s base salary.
