Parks Division

Park System with Bike Path Over 100 Acres of Public Parks & Open Spaces

The Public Services Department is comprised of the Streets Division and the Parks Division.

The Storm Lake Parks Division is charged with maintaining over 100 acres of public parks and open spaces, a majority of which is along the north shore of Lake Storm Lake.


Park Amenities & Facilities

The Storm Lake Parks system includes a wide variety of public recreational facilities including:

  • Campgrounds
  • Golf courses
  • Open and closed shelters
  • Open green spaces
  • Over five miles of hiking / biking trails
  • Playgrounds
  • Public docks
  • Sports fields
