My mailbox was hit by the snowplow, who do I contact?

The City’s snow plow drivers work diligently to avoid hitting mailboxes during the snow removal season. If you believe that your mailbox has been damaged by a City snow plow, you may contact the Public Service Department by phone at 712-732-8029, by email at publicservices@stormlake.org. Upon receiving notice of a damaged mailbox the City will investigate the cause of the damage and if the cause of the damage is found to be a directly from a snow plow (not damage caused by rolling or plowed snow) then the City will make reimbursement for the mailbox that was damaged with a similar mailbox.
