The City Council Meeting is open to the public and is broadcast live on Cable Channel 3.
City Council Meeting Protocol:
- The City Council meets the first (1st) and third (3rd) Monday’s of each month at 5:00PM in the City Council Chambers located on the second floor of City Hall. Elevator access is available.
- Citizens can address the Council with non-agenda items during the Hear the Public portion of the agenda.
- Citizens are asked to limit their comments to three (3) minutes
- Citizens who wish to speak will be recognized by the Mayor to speak.
- Occasionally the City Council may vote to go into “Closed Session”. In these cases the meeting is closed to the public for the limited discussion of the topic under discussion. For more information on Closed Sessions visit our City Government Education Page.
- Occasionally the City Council will hold a “Study Session” directly following the regular City Council Meeting. These sessions are open to the public but are not broadcast on Cable Channel 3. For more information on Study Sessions visit our City Government Education Page.
