Fireworks Prohibited

The USE of 1st and 2nd Class Consumer Firework is NOT permitted.

With the exception of 2nd Class Consumer Fireworks that will be allowed between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on July 3rd and July 4th of each year.  Violators of the first-class and second-class consumer fireworks ban can be charged with a simple misdemeanor and a fine of up to $500.  The ordinance amendment authorizes to issue citations for firework use violations.

Sales of approved consumer fireworks are allowed from December 10, 2017 until January 3, 2018 and regulated by the State Fire Marshal.
